How darned nonverbal I'm over recent things. Trying to talk, enter panic attack. Joys.

& that I can't just order my mood to get together. Gdi. Keeping trying.

I got frustrated listening to someone talking about a specific topic.

I also got frustrated because I want to be specific about what I was listening to but I feel too guilty and hypervigilant to say it. And that makes me mad too.

My best friend's uncle and his wife! They were asked since September when they will come to pay a visit...mostly to bring my best friend's mother and grandmother who are not capable to drive the long distance anymore. They didn't react or respond since September and called today (!) to announce that they will come here the weekend after next weekend!!! ...and that they will stay over night! :arghh;:arghh;:arghh;:banghead::banghead::banghead: ....it's an insolence! ...four visitors and one is more difficult than the other! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: ...uncle's wife is militantly vegan! I will eat my meat and drink my milk! :devilish: ....and I refuse to cook vegan! :facepalm::meh:...I don't know how I will survive this weekend! ....:cautious:

@Anrish, and you can't postpone that? I'd cheerfully tell them they need to plan better and respond to in a coordinated fashion as you have other business to attend to for that time. Eventually shorten the time of their stay as much as possible: that they have to drop off the lady doesn't mean they also have to stay in the whole time. You can say you're simply not comfortable with overnight stays, and leave it at that.

It's your house/home. Not theirs. You make the rules. That they are welcome under X conditions does not mean they are when those conditions no longer apply, and they better learn boundaries.

@Cashew : Thank you for your words. They express what's inside me. But I won't postpone it for my best friend. She was longing to see her mother and grandmother since August - since the move. She's also not so happy with the situation but she told me that I'm free to do what I want to. That makes it a bit easier for me...I will somehow deal with it. I deliberately managed to get a duty call weekend on this special weekend - when I'm lucky...someone gets arrested and I have to go for work.

The high school kids talking through the minute of silence we had throughout all of Europe, to honour the victims of terrorist attacks in Paris and all over the world. Being in public has allowed well, the public in my space.
