Iran funds Hezbollah, a globally recognised terrorist organisation, the very people who are terrorising Israel and other countries citizens.

Who is right and who is wrong? I don't know. I think its complex and above my pay grade.

Seriously though, you need to stop the Trump nonsense. Agree or disagree with decisions, understand larger issues, but seriously, people need to get off the Trumpism train. Obama kicked out more immigrants than Trump. Biden let more illegals in than any president. All presidents kept printing money that doesn't exist nor has any assets behind that printing, thus lowering the dollars value and driving inflation and cost of living globally.

Look at what Elon Musk found wrong in Americas financials. Put your feelings aside on Musk and all the political noise created to try and stop him from what he found, but you can't deny the issues he found, the issues that group are still finding, the sheer volume of corruption and theft of citizens money which is being used against citizens to BS them in any direction powerful people pulling the strings want the wind blowing in public noise. You cannot deny the corruption and stupidity found in a Governments financial system. The corruption being found by Youtubers and publicised for all to see, in many states of the US. This happens in all countries to some level, but the US is significant.

You need someone outside the system, who isn't afraid of the blowback, to try and stop as much as possible within a short period. A lot more noise has to be made to stop issues, both internal and global. Governments everywhere are taking stock and culling their Government noise and looking for corruption.

Trump is noisy... is has no filter... but overall, he is doing good for both America and the world, and both need it right now, regardless of your personal feelings for the man. Again, he needs to actually do much more, but he is fighting a corrupt system which takes time to change, and some things he doesn't have the power to change.

I don't personally like Trump, but I like that he exists to fix the issues stemming from America that are affecting the world. Yes, the current Iran issue is affecting the globe, but hoping Trump does what Trump does, and makes a good deal to cut all the shit and remove the threat of WW3 coming from Iran.

There are forces behind the scenes trying to destabilize the US$ and get it removed for the Chinese YUAN to takeover as the global currency. Go research the issues that will stem from that change. You aren't going to be happy. It won't be good for anyone in the US, stock markets WILL collapse globally, companies broke, people unemployed at a level worse than any recession or depression to date.

Trump is fighting a multi-faceted attack which affects the US and all its allies.

People need to stop hating Trump and focusing on that noise, that distraction, which the powers to be are creating and pushing so you don't look at the real issues being fought against.

I wish I thought he was one of "the good guys", trying to make the world a better place. Personally, I've seen zero to suggest that. He's a rich big shot who keeps score with money and power and all he really cares about is that he gets as much of both as he can. That's my opinion. I hope they never get nuclear weapons, I wish NO ONE had nuclear weapons. It seems like there ought to be a better solution that "Kill them all". Which, I guess, is one of my other problems with Mr. Art of the Deal. I read the book when he was elected the first time. I'll give him credit for consistency. He seems to have one deal making technique. Bluster and threaten and try to intimidate. That's the whole book. Life is a zero sum game. As luck would have it, it only works on some people. My personal best guess is that it doesn't work well with religious zealots. (It doesn't work well with me either.)

I'm still trying to sort out the idea of blockading a blockade. It seems rather like a situation where someone has seized hostages and barricaded themselves in a building. The the police show up and announce that they are surrounded and better stay inside. I'm wondering what we do if an oil ship, say one carrying oil from the UAE to England, tries to pass through the strait. Are "we" planning on sinking it? Seizing the oil? (And then what?) If someone could explain the logic of this, I'd appreciate it.

People have had plenty opportunities to research and understand what is happening. Trump is dismantling a system that is more corrupt than most can imagine. The USA for over 100 years has been a target to remove its well fought for independence.
Trump is putting into place things like tarrifs to allow the USA to be indepdendent, as it should be. He is extricating the USA from a war with Iran that has been going on for almost 50 years. This is NOT a new war. He is releasing Cuba from communism. He has put into place a government in Venezuela that may have Venequelans who have fled the country to be able to return home again. This I know as my son's wife is Venezuelan and she speaks of the horrors she, her friends and her family have endured there.
Tired of people saying they want to understand yet put their fingers in their ears and sing la la la la la and attack and attempt to humiliate those with facts that provide a differing narrative than 'Trump is a moronic, criminal who is out only for himself." How about all of you open yourself to the idea that there has been a corrupt cabal running your country and many other countries for decades.
Ask yourself, how do a very small percentage of people have obscene amounts of money while the masses can't afford housing or food or necessities in life? For thsoe 'lucky' enough to work, they drop dead at retirement age (if there is such a thing anymore) because they have been worked to the bone all their lives. Where are these filthy rich assholes getting their money from? Why have corporations been allowed to put anyand all competition out of business - meaning no opportunites for everyday people to own do anything but make minimum wage? Now with AI, look at what is happening to young adults and their ability to get a decent paying job (or any job at all).
Why do only 5 or 6 corporations own absolutely everyting on this planet?
And better still, why don't you know this:? And if you do know it, why are you not seeing how it is destroying the lives of the people who live on this planet?

They will disable the ship. They can do that. They will likely also board the ship from all directions if necessary, overwhelming the crew and take control of it. You won't get past a battleship. They will disable all its communications if necessary and overwhelm it within minutes... what they do with that ship then... don't know. Park it? Disable it? Send it to America? Don't know. But Iran will not be getting any money from any oil leaving its shore, not by ship.

It's been all of three weeks since he was for Iran making money from its oil. Presumably that's a paraphrase as I couldn't find the quote - how many more civilians are or will be dead as a result of his actions by his own reckoning?

We had the JCPOA which limited the amount of weapons-grade uranium that Iran could refine or hold to 0 and provided for inspections to make sure of it. Expecting the same guy who tore that up to fix it again? In an ideal world we would've had someone negotiating an extension to that deal at this point in time.

No My post is not limited to what is being done in Iran. Trump is a malignant narcissist. History has given us lessons when this occurred before. We did not learn so the lesson is being repeated. I am no longer a democrat republican liberal conservative. I am in favor in particular of taking a stand for social security in the US. There is a massive transfer of wealth going on. Greed . Blasphemy. Loss of moral compass. Trauma non stop 24/7 from trump the media etc. And I respectfully disagree with you but am grateful you started this group.

They disabled the internet as well so the outside world would not know what they were doing to their very own citizens. As far as I know the citizens are still not able to reach the outside world.
