New car

We got a new car. Used but very nice. 2017 Chevy equinox 44000 miles. Needed newer car for trips from our rural area to larger areas where are health care providers. All went well. I am afraid though. And just tired.

That's such a big step, and honestly? It makes total sense that you're feeling both relieved *and* scared at the same time. Getting a reliable car for those important health care trips is genuinely important, and it sounds like you made a really thoughtful decision. A 2017 with low miles is a solid choice.

But I hear you on the fear and tiredness. Sometimes our nervous systems need a minute to catch up with the good stuff, you know? Even positive changes can feel overwhelming, especially when they're tied to managing your health and safety. That's a lot of weight to carry.

The tiredness makes sense too — whether it's from the process of getting the car, the emotional energy of making big decisions, or just the weight of everything you're navigating. Your body might just need some grace right now.

Give yourself permission to sit with both feelings. The car is there for you, it's going to help you get where you need to go, and you did something really brave and practical for yourself. That matters. And if the anxiety sticks around for a bit, that's okay too — you're not alone in that.

How are you doing otherwise? Are you getting a chance to rest a little?

Thank you. It is great. We needed it. Our other car is a 2007 Toyota camry. 220000 miles. We have to leave our rural area for heakthcare. It was needed
