A happy thread

We always come here on our bad days to vent or bitch about PTSD so I thought I would start a thread about happy times or special things your S/O has done for you. I'll start...

My guy tucks me in bed every night.
He makes me laugh EVERY day because he is so silly and to see me laugh makes him happy too.
He finishes the laundry when I don't have time.
He cooks like a pro.
He has many different ways to kiss me, bionic kisses, sprinkler kisses, lazy kisses, sleepy kisses...
He loves to cuddle.

Those are just a few things that make my day.

And listens to me talk endlessly when I need to talk.

My guy
* likes to sew and he can sew the finest middle age costumes. He just finished a damsel costume for me.. but no he is not gay or unmanly or anything. Hopefully we will attend the next middle age fair, he as a knight and me as a damsel and he is going to sew costumes for the kids
* like Yours he cooks like a pro... but no he is not gay or unmanly
* likes to have his things in order, I never have to ask him to pick up something, he does this himself
* cleans, sweeps does the dishes... but no he is not gay or unmanly
* is mega protectively me and the kids
* knows how to fix everything
* has the sweetest smile
* likes to crack crazy jokes
* appreciates the little things

Thanks for starting this thread. It really lifted my mood.
You know, my guy made me realize that it is untrue that a man can be
A) manly but a caveman
Or B) not a caveman but unmanly

Mine is both not a caveman and manly.

treats me like a queen,
tells me not to cut out my family even though they're abusive,
is a wonderful chef,
a good provider,
smart,
a gentleman,
opens my car door,
kisses me goodnight,
kisses me before leaving,
kisses me when he gets home,
tells me he loves me multiple times a day,
makes me laugh till I cry, and last but not least,
texts me while at work even though he's not supposed to

Lol. I guess this anonymous forum isn't anonymous enough for me.

Your post made me think about something I saw recently. Not sure where I saw it. Probably face book. It was a picture of a man with a full beard and it said if you can grow a full beard but can't change a tire....

Sometimes it can be a little "depressing" around here so i thought I'd lighten the mood with a happier theme.

re "grows a full beard but cannot change a tire". Exactly... and mine in the opposite. Likes to be clean shaven but can change a tire, can sew but still loves rugby .

Who made up that stupid stereotypes about manliness such as "a real man must grow a beard" or "a real man must dislike latte machiatto".

Mine is a huge biker with long hair and a beard, and he cooks and cleans with the best of them. In fact, he gives me a run for my money in the kitchen! That's one thing we like to do - cook together.

He brushes my hair.

He is hilarious!

He likes to surprise me with gifts and he has very expensive taste in jewelry.

He's there for my kids.
