A Wasted Life

I realize this thread was started a few weeks ago. - maybe my comments aren't really helpful - I'm sorry if that's the case. Maybe I need to respond for me.

Life simply sucks sometimes. Even my T says "It sucks to be you". He's not saying it in a bad way. Usually in the context of a "yes, this really is awful for you." I would say @EveHarrington yup, life sucks sometimes. (can feel like all the time) but I've seen sooo many good posts you've put up.

When this whole journey started, I know I felt that life was simply not worth living. I'm a ruined broken human being that will never be able to be put back together. No one understands me. I've lost things that can never be replaced, humiliated beyond healing etc... safe to say, most of us have been there. Now I'm exploring this forum and seeing that I'm not alone at all. I'm finding people who speak my lingo. It's awesome. I'm in a better place overall. Maybe I do have something worth saying once in a while. Maybe some of what I went through can help me read between the lines for someone else. See in their eyes what most will never get. I think you have this Eve. You've definitely helped me - and I've only been here since Saturday. @Nevermore you aren't alone. Thank you for sharing and giving us the priviledge of sharing in your day.

I saw my brother yesterday, brother I used to be close to who now seems to have given up on me. His gaze makes me feel like rubbish, like everything is my fault.
He doesn't believe in PTSD . He thinks I could have avoided the things that happened to me. He thinks I suffer because I want to.
It hurts really bad, like s sword through my heart. And all the progress I've made feels like nothing, a waste of time.

Me too-my brother is just the same. It hurts beyond belief.
