About to give up and talking to crisis line

Hey - I just logged in a few minutes ago. Is there anyone in real-time that you can grab onto right now? Just even to go for tea or to have over for tea and chat? I believe you have a therapy appt upcoming? Can you share this thread with him/her possibly? It just seems that you need in person human contact. Any thoughts on that? Sending hope and light your way. Please take care of yourself. VB
Thanks! I ended up going to my ballet class despite how I felt and then distracted myself the rest of the evening. I did also chat with a friend although I hate bothering her with this. I guess I got though one more moment we'll see how it goes.

Hi! I wrote back yesterday, but for whatever reason it didn't show. I ended up going to my dance class and it was still useful even though I couldn't concentrate much. And I wrote a friend. This has been hyperstressful weekend but thankfully it passed. I don't have appointment with my T. I had one last week but I was so agoraphobic then I couldn't go out so I had to cancel. I can schedule one soon, but I want to be sure I won't cancel it.
 
Hang tough girlie. Sounds like it's time to apply all of your self-care and coping mechanisms. Maybe just keep life as simple as possible and take it one day or one hour at a time. I know when I think too far ahead of what I'm able to manage, I don't manage anything well at all. I don't do "focus" too well, so it's especially difficult when I'm stressed to get anything done, so I've been working on being able to just focus on one task at a time. Sometimes, I have to find the right setting, the right music, the right tea.... whatever takes, so that I can accomplish tasks. I actually put in 2 job applications today. Oh, what a time that was! So much anxiety and so difficult dealing with intrusive, negative thoughts, but I did it. Keep trying and keep taking care of yourself. I'm hearing you if that helps. Best to you. :) VB

@SeekingAfrica just a suggestion, but can you call or email your T and share that you are having trouble leaving the house? Doing so might give him or her a picture/idea of how difficult and stressful things have been for you lately. Then, you can work on baby steps toward safety and stabilization to get the help and human support that you deserve. Maybe a home, Skype, or a phone session is an option until you feel ready and able to go to the office again. Sending support!
