Admitted To Hospital

Dear members, I won't be in chat to be there for any of you for a while as I suffered two major epileptic fits on Saturday. I am due to have an MRI in a few hours as the doctors are very concerned I may have had a bleed on the brain or a mild stroke. I cant lift my right leg properly anymore. I will get through this and be fighting fit soon I promise and then Iwill be back to my old self.

In the meantime like now i am able to use the wifi for 90 minutes a day on 3 occassions which i will be taking advantage of.

Thank you, I have just been informed that the radiologist who was meant ro book my mri forgot on saturday and i now jave to wait until tomorrow afternoon, i now have limited use of my right leg and am going to need intenaive physio and a walking stick :(

Seen physio. I can't use my right leg properly anymore so have been fitted for a walking stick, hey ho, if I have to use of to be able at o walk comfortably I guess I will have to just put up with it. :(

You will soon get used to using the walking stick, it took me while to get the hang of it.

I fitted a strap to my one, that way I can hang it on my wrist while doing things, like getting my wallet or phone out, as every time I stood it up against anything, it used to fall down?

Not so good when you can't bend down to pick it up. I just drilled a hole through the top of it, and tied an old boot lace through it, works a treat.

You're pretty tough and resilient, the walking stick might only be temporary. You're in my thoughts! Hoping for a perfect and speedy recovery. :hug:
