Hello,

I only recently discovered this board and have been lurking, and I've decided to stick my toe in. I am 42 years old and have Complex PTSD as a result of mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual child abuse. I have been in therapy for most of my life, but it wasn't until five years ago that it was finally diagnosed. Since then, everything has fallen into place, and I have had many repressed memories return. Know that I know the cause of my PTSD, however, I am only beginning to understand the depth of it and how it has affected every single aspect of my life. Thank you for this wonderful community.

Welcome pooh71. I too am 42 and a survivor of similar abuses from the very yoing ago of 2 years old. I have been undiagnosed most of my life only finally being properly diagnosed 6 months ago. Again welcome to the forum.

I am undiagnsed, but I know that I have c-ptsd. I have recovered memories too. I have recently discoved that I was a scapedgoated child, and possibly a cover narcissist with co-depence. Oh, I have had stroke to and nearly died. Beat that !
