After emdr - anyone with trouble speaking or sleeping?

Does anyone here have trouble speaking or sleeping after EMDR? Is that normal? I don't sleep well for a couple days afterwards and I find myself unable to speak or be expressive much.

I think it’s normal to have symptom spikes after processing. I know I did!

Yes. It tends to stir things up for a bit. Do you go back to your therapist to process after emdr? You might ask for some extra support while going through this.
