I am finally invited for an interview tomorrow after 6 months.
As many of you will know that I have been crazily applying for jobs for over a year now. I have finally passed the first round of telephone interview, passed the psychometric test (behavioural and maths/common sense Test). Tomorrow is the biggest day for me. I have an interview which will involve a 30 min test around the job (dealing with data) and the other 1 hr is simply them having me on trial as a victim :nailbiting::facepalm:lol.
The criteria to be selected for this particular job involves:
All these questions are running around my head like a halo of negativity. I don't know what will happen tomorrow :(. It's been a year and 3 months full of rejections. I really want a job involving statistics because I enjoy working with data and presenting results but my questions are Am I really capable to come true to their expectations? Do I really deserve this job? I have only worked as a waitress, as a checkout operator at retail and supermarkets and this is something I see as being high class. Am I really worthy of this?

The criteria to be selected for this particular job involves:
- Have you got what it takes to fit into our team?
- You have a passion for data and presenting information accurately in new and interesting ways
- You are a good communicator and are confident in discussing your ideas. You’re upfront and honest in dealing with people and are confident to stand your own ground when necessary.
- You have proven ability to understand and manipulate data and may have experience using SQL or similar database tools.
- You are smart and quick to absorb new ideas, alert and open minded, and able to find solutions to problems you’ve not encountered before.
- You like to have fun, but you believe in getting things done right and on time – no “dropping the ball”
