Expression & body language & choice of clothing usually gets across 'f*ck off' just fine.

If I really think they are looking ... I pop up the lead screen that says " MY PTSD, in bright blue

And I think, that's right asshole ... I'm more unpredictable than you thought.

Grins...could have used this earlier today, the bus freaks me out. I bailed on important dr. app today

Smiles @Chimera its all about our perception and whatever works.
The dressing the part doesn't work for me, especially yesterday. I looked like a fat old blue butterfly but I felt cute and that's what mattered. There's nothing threatening about feeling cute hahaha
Reschedule that doctors appointment and keep it.

Thank you..for the smiles and support.

Don't forget about the knitting needles. You can pick up a pair, toss in a little yarn and carry it in a little cloth bag.
Heck you don't have to know how or take up knitting but it might make you feel safe *just in case*

You might find some at a thrift shop or yard sale if you are okay with going out to look. If you can afford it you could order from Amazon and have a delivery so you are ready :sneaky:

@Chimera not only would knitting give you the comfort of knowing you have something to protect yourself with if you needed it, if you actually knit AND enjoy it, it's perfect. You have something you enjoy doing and you can keep focused on that and not have your mind wander to negative places. Just don't miss your stop! But reschedule my friend, reschedule
I think there might be places you can get yarn and make scarves for the needy in winter. You will be doing a good deed and scarves aren't bulky! Heck, I'm getting excited for you. I am such a goof sometimes but not a bad idea.... I might look it up myself.

Promise, I'll call them monday.

I had to laugh the first time you reminded me about knitting, because the first thought to cross my mind was I could use them as a weapon if I ever needed to!
I really like the idea of making scarves and giving them away.

I did look into it a little @Chimera and it turns out many goodwill and thrift stores will give you yarn for free. You can knit scarves for the homeless and there is a project where you can knit baby blankets for the needy as well. I guess hats too. Some places offer free classes or at least free patterns. It's easy to find knitting for causes.
