I have big problems with going in stores and looking for things but I can't seem to give it up. I think it's another one of those self punishment things and that's why I don't?
I don't want to talk to the "sales clerks," I worked retail, I know they don't want to talk to me. Mostly, I know the stores better than they do and I can read the packages.
But what I've noticed I do, is I go into stores looking for stuff they don't have. Even if they do have it there are nowhere near the benefits Amazon prime which I'm paying for and the more I use, it the cheaper it gets.
But it feels like giving up somehow? I'm not sure. It's just like a real compulsion wanting to go into Walmart and get stuff but, even the stuff I know they have they stock out a % of the time.
Then I want someone to yell at.
Bjs I'm used to, (wholesale club, groceries and mostly everything) I do it like it's my job. (Which it is.) It's where we buy about 75% of everything and even that I could pre order online. I always buy the same stuff. I go twice a week on average.
Amazon has all the stuff reviewed, questions answered, free two day shipping, free returns. If you want to return anything you just print a label and drop it off at the UPS store. I can even shop Whole Foods now I haven't dared to look at that lol.
