Am I the only one who laughed? Really, that vid pointed out the obvious lack of knowledge and ignorance and so forth, but besides that was imho fairly entertaining. I don't think it was meant as a serious probe into the topic either.

Or maybe I just like watching people's reactions when surprised and how fast does who improvise, even if the answer is complete bullshit afterwards.

I agree with @Solara and @Lucycat that the word "contract" seemed to have been used to imply that PTSD is some kind of contagious disease. I think it set people up. I think it was disappointing that the guy never gave them any kind of "answer". Maybe something like "not being traumatized might prevent it". Those were teachable moments that were instead used to make people look clueless.

And I think it's sad that he didn't take a minute on camera and tell them what PTSD is. It's unfortunate that so many people don't know. But I get it that if people aren't dealing with it in one way or another they probably won't know much about it. And I think the really sad thing is is that PTSD isn't a joke and there are already stigmas that need to be corrected with knowledge.
