Anyway I absolutely want to direct my feeling the right way and I'm so grateful for everyone's comments because it's very helpful. I come here to get peoples opinions, people who know more than me because I want to learn. .

I admire that you are coming from this open minded and open hearted place. That is impressive to me.

And @Glara does have some rights in knowing as well. She has a right to understand what she is getting herself to as well. But then in every relationship there will be things that you will only get to know as the relationship progresses as well.

I totally agree, but the difficulty lies in knowing how much we (the supporters) have a right to know. At what point does a supporter's need/right to know outweigh the sufferer's need/right to privacy, if at all?

@Glara I think you handled it well, and totally agree that this place is a wonderful way to see other sides/opinions and to get ideas about making your relationship work in the best way possibly for the pair of you.
