Anyone Watching Bates Motel?

I started watching Bates Motel and it has a very good portrayal of emotionally abusive mother. She is the victim/passive abuser towards her son. Anybody watching this one?

Seen it, the one with Kathy Bates in it where she smashed the guys ankels with a sledgehammer between 2 blocs of wood, Written by Stephen Kind I do believe.

@Santa_Laurie I think you are thinking of the movie/book Misery by Stephen King. Kathy Bates was in the movie version and played the crazy captor and abuser.

@UniversalBeing I watch Bates Motel. Throughout all of the characters there is about every kind of abuse there is: physical, sexual, incestuous, emotional, etc. It is a dark twisted show but very well acted and written in my opinion. There has been a couple of times I couldn't watch a scene or two because they were triggering.

I love it. I so want to recommend it to the mother and son who live behind me. A parallel dynamic.
