Poll Are You a Static Electricity Magnet?

I've found it depends on the weather, relative humidity, footwear and walking surface.

A couple of months ago the company I work for resealed the concrete floor. It was also somewhat humid and cold.
Stretch wrapping pallets of plastic bread trays had me running in circles building up a charge. A couple of times I got too close to the charged pallet, which would send a good jolt of static electricity up my headphone wire into my ear. Which is as pleasant as it sounds. Lol

I hadn't made a connection until seeing this, but yes.

About a year ago I moved to the midwest from the Pacific NW (where, you may have heard, it rains once in awhile.) Since then ALL the time.

I just thought my bedroom light sucked and blamed the rest on the clothes dryer or carpet or whatever. For the record only the passenger side door bites me (so of course I park that side to the house and keep my smokes in the car)

I'm just curious about how many others have problems with static electricity. We know that ptsd causes change...

I get so staticky that that my floats toward the wall I'm walking past (indoor walls, painted).
