Muse, Nadia, PTSDsufferer, 712, Eleanor et al. ,
This forum is awesome in the way that is causes us to focus and explain our realities and our disconnection from our realities ... which is a unique reality all of its own.
I consider this forum as a relatively safe place. It is like the bubble that Muse describes ... a welcome invisibility as PTSDsufferer feels ... almost not real like Nadia explains ... where memory and new knowledge (sometimes missed) intersect as Eleanor has witnessed with her H ... a sense of relief and I don't give a fly-f*ck that 712 accurately suggests.
But we try to touch each other in our bubbles ... really "see" each other as tangible ... sing to each other's human-ness ... remember each other's caring efforts (if not their exact points) ... sighing who gives a rat's ass anyway with an odd comfort.
This place grounds me. It allows me to accept myself and others connecting here AS IS!! I never shop for "perfect" material items. Why should I look for "perfectly-materialistic-relationships"? Just my way of saying the internet is "virtual reality" ... and I like it. I could not dissociate from the pressures of the REAL world with a nicer group of people! In half-hour chunks that could keep me here all day ... ;).
