Thanks for posting this maddog. I have spent some time this afternoon reading up on Mindfulness, and although it looks like it could be really helpful for me, it also looks terrifying. Am glad to see that there are positives to be had from going through the process.
I am grateful that there are others here who are "just a bit ahead of me" in this journey, it makes it all a little less daunting, and gives some hope and comfort that I can bear that tuff stuff in the short term so as to gain the long term benefits.
I will start will some of the self-help resources, and then there is a course running in my area in a couple of months, which, if I can afford, I will enroll in. Otherwise I might need to find a Buddhist Center!
