A journeyman is a kind of apprentice. He travels and maybe attaches to like... a blacksmith, say. The journeyman is a young man learning this trade who may take over a family's business. Very old-fashioned term I know just from literature.^^What is this? We have no such ppl called this. Do they go on great, great journeys that all of us left cannot? Are they special built & trained to handle the journey? What?? lol
Very surprised to see the South Island kōkako was in the running -- it's debated to have been extinct for decades, but apparently there was a sighting back in 2007. Will be very cool if it is still extant.
Basically nothing, lol.what eats you in New Zealand?
house-pest whitetail spiders, whose venomous status is debated but my understanding is the bites have a tendency to become infected which is the bit that gets you. I still squish those whenever I see them around.
Yikes!Definitely. I've had one bite, antibiotics & minor surgery to stem the flesh eating bacteria... ugh...
I've never encountered one, but apparently small numbers have been sighted this side of the Ditch, yep.And did we really send you over our redbacks?
Oops. Yes. Those. 66 different species found in our waters, according to the Department of Conservation.Don't you have sharks around NZ?
Hoop snakes, Drop bears??
