It is as big Spock. It teaches us tolerance for other being different. It opens the mind and allow people to see that the planet is connected and that even though people live differently, we are still the same.

It can also show you just how spoiled you live compared to others. It helped me to realize that I didn't need fancy gear to be happy.

I also got to see what being real poor is. Mud huts,im not kidding, soap is MEDICINE for some folks.
