I'm sorry you've had such a bad couple of days.
Could you say a bit more what you mean by trigger? It seems to mean different things to different people.
I do things so that I don't get flashbacks, nightmares, hallucinations, or memories/thoughts coming up in a way that's destabilising. In that sense, I do protection so they don't happen in the first place.
I do get more generally stressed, anxious and upset. For example, the inevitable distress that comes with thinking about particular aspects of trauma. I also get general feelings of being ruined, damaged, broken and worthless. I'm dealing with a lot of anxiety over work and life, and related feelings of being useless and hopeless.
Not sure what kind of thing you mean - would it be one of these? If so, it might not strictly be about body psychotherapy - unless I'm misunderstanding, in which case please let me know. Otherwise, what do you think about starting a thread with that particular topic and pointing me to it so I can reply there? I think the more threads there are with an emphasis on alternative/holistic approaches to things, the better!
