Hello everyone!
Obviously my name is Heather and I hail from the great state of Wisconsin (go cheese heads). Alittle bit on why I am here.
Currently on the outs (again) with my boyfriend who suffers from Combat PTSD. After being on an emotional roller coaster with him on pushing me away etc, I decided to look more into the subject to try and understand for my own sake. It has left me feeling confused, rejected and pretty much worthless. However, after googling Combat PTSD and coming across this site I have now a better understanding of PTSD but would love to learn more.
Not sure if my boyfriend/ex boyfriend whatever he is this week is willing to work through it with me.
When he first told me he has PTSD early on in our relationship I asked him a few questions in regards to it but I didn't realize it also made suffers put up these emotional walls where they are numb and push people away.
I look forward to reading and understanding more about this.
