the outside world would always say life is a marathon,
I saw a film here. It shared great lesson regarding life and racing behind it blindly. Life is not marathon and not an opportunity where you are running behind money to gain luxury and comfort. This is why people have fallen on shortcut traps and ended up being more unhappy. People target money and money is neutral in this universe. They end up with valueless life and complaint they didn't get everything. If you want to get everything respect love and love life. Life has everything and value in itself. You will surely start being happy and receive-give love in your life. It will take long time though. So many things to give, work on it. but more worthy. Life will give you thrill, happiness and you can go on positively...
To them, career is more important...And more or less, I can feel they don't believe PTSD is an illness but just a period of bad emotion which would fade with enough rest.....
Parents needs to listen to their kids. Listening to our own kids won't do harm. In fact it will strengthen parent-kid relationship. In your case, you're at loss. Not them. I don't agree with career is more important. My parents did the same to me. Never paying attention to someone who is in crucial need will do more harm.
PTSD is very difficult thing to deal with. Trauma and life, biggest obstacle in my opinion. It sounds like facing your all fears, even when you don't want to face them and are unpleasant to you.
I would try to find the best balance between following my step for healing and parent's expectation
My major concern right now. I am searching for this balance.
ok, you have my approval.....:p
