I don't want to derail this thread, so my apologies to @susannahsays if what I'm going to say seems to be off track.
@EveHarrington I, who posts here, am not the "host" of our system. To be honest, I have no idea who you would say is the host in our system. I get the sense you think only the host should be posting. If so, that means I'm not welcome here. I am glad that my therapist doesn't insist on pigeonholing us in that way. It may be, for someone with DID, that the "host" (if there is one) isn't the one who needs or is able to speak about the PTSD issues anyway. I made sure that I learned the rules when I came and have always followed them. Do I need to identify myself every time as the person who signed up for MyPTSD? Since I do sometimes speak of the others of us, should I just be silent to avoid inducing paranoia, even though I'm not breaking any rules?
I'm not trying to create a lot of friction. I understand that talking to people with DID apparently plays on your paranoia. We all have our struggles here. The responsibility for someone here with DID is to abide by the rules, just like everyone else. That doesn't mean your experience doesn't matter. If you find you are interacting with someone who has DID, and it makes you uncomfortable can always put that person on ignore or simply not read and respond
