Can Emdr Really Work On Drealization/dissociation After Few Sessions?

My therapist started emdr treatment and I feel different.i wonder is it possible that it is really working.
Has anyone one else had results with this treatment.??
iv had this for a few years and find it had to believe it has such good results.

EMDR has done wonders for me, especially in a short time. I've been doing EMDR with my trauma therapist for over a year now and it helps me a lot! It has helped me change my life for the better. I'm a true believer in it. People who have known me many years have told me that I'm different now, that I seem "alive" now. It's wonderful!

I have recently started emdr and have noticed results. I think it is working, although i go through a time period of some distress, like things intensify for a while afterward. So far i have noticed a difference.

how is it working for you littlestar?i find it hard to put into words,but something is different.
