You might have read in my diary about the cat diarrhoea I found on my pale coloured carpet some days ago . It was awful:mad:. We discovered it on coming home from an evening in the pub :(. I was just quick enough to stop Rory from walking through it ;). I never discovered which of our 2 cats was the culprit . They seemed completely well and there was no repeat ( thank goodness):).
That evening, having taken a very deep breath I scrubbed and scrubbed the carpet.( Part 1):vomit:
Having allowed it to dry thoroughly, I was hopeful but then when I hoovered it, the next day it still looked bad . So I went on to cleaning part 2; Stronger 'Power' shampoo. Scrubbed, rinsed and patted vigorously.:hot: Feeling quite pleased - the stain appeared to have gone.:)
Next day - it looked like a huge bleached white patch in our pale green carpet.
So yesterday was part 3; I borrowed a friends Carpet Cleaning Machine.:help: It was a slow process and when I was down paying attention to The Stain I had wet knees on my trousers. I was so slow and thorough that I have a blister on the palm of my hand - but I think we have success. The 'bleach mark' has gone. With hindsight I think I has probably left too much product in the carpet before:devil:. There is no evidence of The Stain unless it is pointed out to you.:D
I am hoping there will be no part 4!:peekaboo:
