Just a thought, maybe it might be helpful to say 'you' instead of 'he'/ 'she'.. After all, you're in the same 'room', and you're expressing what you appreciate & love about each other. (JMHO).

I was referring to other peoples comments and suggestions though and he was looking for help when he opened the thread so. Slightly awkward though ha.

I am tip toeing through this post. I realized you were H&W or close enough on a different post we shared.
Often people are drawn to those who have qualities that .... Searching for the right words ....
That raise conflict.
This is not a bad thing if you both are aware and are willing to work on it.
In fact having a partner to work things through with (not relive the cycle) can be a special gift.
@mary1979 you have to stop apologizing for not being grateful. You have to stop apologizing that you have things to work through.
You can't save or be saved by each other but you can grow into a strong and equal team.
Try reading up on codependency.
