Hi, I'm a child abuse survivor. Had counselling in the past, but didn't really help. These past few weeks I'v been really struggling, pushed friends away, don't want to be around anyone and on the verge of crying at the slightest thing, which isn't like me.
I'm so sorry for your pain. I don't know anything about what to say to you about your abuse. Just wanted you to know that someone is listening and cares.
I know it's silly but did something happen recently that may have triggered this? Sometimes it helps me when I am in that place you are in to see if maybe something happened to bring it on then I can figure out where to go from there.....
Same. Sometimes I just need to be selfish and take that time. I say this with kindness, as that is the context of how someone once put it to me 'you can't cry forever'. Let it go when your in a safe, approriate place and time. Look forward to that place and time when you can expereince it. When you feel it coming on tell yourslef that you have time later to experince the sadness.
I think that by feeling what you need to eventually you'll gain more clarity and find some solutions to what you seek.
