Commitment -- We Bought A Cavoodle! Omg!

Talk about commitment... we ordered a Cavoodle from an upcoming litter due in April, ready for pickup June 1. OMG... a she, woollen (no shedding) and preferably the reddish brown, though the colour we get is what comes out. We'll love her all the same, regardless of colour.

I'm actually pretty excited. She is so sleeping on the end of the bed, cough cough... I mean possibly between us, snuggled up. I hope she sleeps on Nicolette's head for some warmth in winter. That would be a funny pic.

She looks beautiful, I have two on my bed and boy do they take over. I don't think there is any chance she will be sleeping on the end of the bed she will be right there cuddled up between you. The ruler of your bed and your home.

Sounds awesome Sammy... just got a book on my kindle, all about cavoodles, training, food, the lot. The name is going to be interesting. If "Minion" suited, it would be that.

And when she arrives... don't worry, there will oodles of picks.

I've just purchased a Cavoodle book and currently reading it. Whilst it is specific to Cavoodles in some aspects, most aspects of it all dog based... every interesting reading. Lots I don't know, had no idea, now understand some shitty habits I see in others dogs as a result of not understanding / bad human behaviour in raising their dog. Will be trying hard to raise a healthy, well mannered puppy who gets lots of love, but also knows what not to do.

Training is going to be fun... and a handful, all at the same time.

Nice cross! I had to look it up even though I am very much a dog person (used to train for show). Congrats on your new bedmate ;)

My ex hubby hated cats, and of course I came equipped with friendliest orange and white male. The Ex would wonder why I was laughing in the middle of the night, never realized the Mangey Varmint was sleeping draped across his balding head.
