To close the thread seems a bit extreme. I hope I did not break ant copyright laws but there are free photo sharing sites wouldn't the same apply there? I would hate to see the threads that pictures have been attached to as we have so many varieties.

Thank you for the heads up. This makes me rather nervous seeing as I post a lot.

I believe the infringement occurs "if one removes the copyright information and claims as their own". Photos w/o branding or copywrite would not qualify under the law. That is why you can't copy some pic's as the owner has protected them.

Facebook has recently changed their policy that any shared photos are free for the taking. Very disturbing, as it translates that a friend of mine could copy my photo, share with their friends and it is now public domain!
