Hi big hugs. It is not your fault He is an abuser. He victimized you. I too have struggled with so much shame and embarrassment over things like this that happened to me in my life.

He made a choice to take advantage of you when you were not in your right mind. It must've been painful to go back into that environment after that happend. I repeat, it was not your fault. I hope this helps

Did you look at the date on which this was written in which you have added your two cents? The discussion is a year old and Heather got through this with flying colours, as the questioning by many here helped her process her trauma effectively.
