ewww Ativan. I hated it as it supressed my breathing. What ever reason it relaxed my breathing to the point of those with apnea... I was waking gasping for air. Not a good one, valium did jack shit, Kloplin (sp?) nothing. Xanax was the only silver bullet hence the fight getting off. So many times I went to ER in I am dying mode puking my toes up and can't breathe and chest pains and the sort. You did not have a med on hand for the aftershock???? I was at that point the other day but thank goodness my drug happy doc I have a ton of reserves. Saves me $700 for a trip so I won't bitch.
Glad your friend was their, we cannot hang alone well when that phase hits, you have to have support it is so damn scary. I relate, I am here. You still kicked ass. And this is your mind and body recovering finding ground again, do not forget it.
Last round the shot me up with a pain killer no clue what, they just said a pain killer. But OMG the pain and burn in my chest from it sent me all over and I swear a whole city block heard me scream bloody murder, my chest was collapsing I swear, they came in with benedryl. It made the burn stop and I felt better right then and groggy but I was too wound up to sleep. The doc came in and said I was the first he ever saw awake after that mix (why do I alway seem to be a first for docs?). Hubs was snoring against the bed though. That was when the shrink jacked up my meds. Thank goodness she is gone LOL.
Terry OT but how do you deal having to go to court and being the professional witness? Do you still have to? I know my ex had to a lot. But he gets a weird rush, he is a twisted dude so it does not hit him the same.
