Would you really want to be with someone who says to you that you're perfect in every way except for the fact that you have decided to cut ties with your incredibly abusive and dysfunctional family?

Yeah------I'd pass on that!

Dating is supposed to be about accepting the whole picture. If someone is that shallow------why be with them?

And truthfully SO many people don't get along with their in laws----I'd actually find it refreshing to date a guy who wasn't overly enmeshed with his FOO. I've got my family----if you've got one, that's cool, if not then that's alright, too.
