Death Dealing With Death!!

Hi everyone am new here but i was just wondering if anyone here is suffering with PTSD due to a death close to them, was wondering if there is others in the same boat as me.

PTSD only comes from death/ threatened death, serious injury, & sexual assault. So you'll find a significant portion of us who have dealt with death... in a wide variety of ways. Are you looking for something specific? Combat/Conflict Zones, MVAs, Natural Disaster, Assault, DV, Gang Violence, Torture, Kidnap, etc.? All of those I know of -usually several- people here on the forums, but it's hardly a complete list of what's brought people here.

Hi thanks for your reply, my personal experience is through the fact that a few years a go my Dad died who i had a bad relationship with when i was younger. Also a little over a year ago my partner and i had a baby with a very rare heart condition called Hypoplstic Left Heart Syndrome. After 2 major heart surgeries and 4 and a half months my daughter Meadow died in my arms. And im struggling. I try and be strong for my family but just recently i've found i need to help myself. Am currently in therapy with EMDR.

There is at least one other who has been on here due to death of a child, if you don't find the responses you are looking for on this thread maybe start a thread with that as the title.
