I just seem to be watching the minutes and hours tick by, waiting for people to get back to me. I'm sick of it. I apreciate that everyone's busy, and have other things to do. Maybe I'm being selfish - but this is MY life, MY career, MY financial problems, and MY health at stake here. GRRRRRRRR

Maybe a lawyer (or paralegal?) is an option after all? My H needed some legal help last month for some benefits, and a powerful letter written by a very warm, kind, down-to-earth lawyer opened the door and resolved the issue. I'm looking at the bill from him: total cost: $ 135.00. (He might have just saved us from bankruptcy. Not bad for $135.)

Another lawyer saved us over $14,000.00 from a crooked accountant who was siphoning money from us a couple of years ago. His retainer: $300
