I picked 'sometimes'. I feel very driven to be involved emotionally with other people, but it's hard to empathize with my age group. Young people tend to be very naive and idealistic, and that's great, but sometimes I feel like if I open my mouth I'll just drag them down. I guess that's why I like people with 'problems'. I don't have to worry about alienating them.

I can empathize sometimes, while other times, i just cant wrap my head around how somebody is feeling. At those times, I feel very cold and distant.
