So as some of you know, I have a new puppy (pictures of him on my profile). He's almost 10 months old now but he's quite big. He's a jet black Golden Doodle (Golden Retriever and a Poodle) and weighs about 80 - 90 pounds and still growing! He is expected to be over 100 pounds.
Anyway, I've never seen an animal with this much personality. He's hilarious! But everything is a game so when I scold him, he thinks I'm playing. I had to find another way to scold so he knows he's done something wrong.
One day, I came home to find a book, toilet paper rolls, coasters, a place mat and a loaf of bread half eaten and thrown around the house. I showed him the mess, used my low voice and sternly said "No!" but he started wagging his tail and running in circles around me. So I did it again and put him in the bathroom for 10 minutes.
I went in to check on him and he was laying flat on his back, all his legs were completely spread out and he was flopping his head back and forth trying to catch his ears! He couldn't have cared less! I could have left him there for days! Lol!
He's finally picking up on the word "No" now but I had to share that story!
Animals can do the funniest things! Do you have any stories?
