I have two cats, Lupish and Zeezee. Lupish is a huge old boy, part Maine Coon, part human (I'd swear it sometimes). Zeezee is a 3yr old girl who forgot to grow up.
Lupish likes to eat a variety of weird things. His favourite foods are olives, watermelon, asain pears, mangoes, chickpeas, other legumes, and greek salad. This cat would rather eat any of the above than a steak (we've tested this theory).
Now Zeezee, wont touch anything but meat, cheese, or her catfood, so when we give Lupish his favourites, and she comes over for some, because he is enjoying it so much, and sees that it is fruit or olives she gets mad at me and thinks I am trying to trick her by giving her something different from what Lupish is eating. It is so funny to sit and watch her get all confused and angry thinking I am pulling one over on her.
Another story is about Lupish, before I got Zeezee. One day he and I were home alone. I was cleaning, and had the balcony door open to let some fresh air in. Lupish found a lady bug, and was playing with it for several minutes, when it became apparent that he'd had his fun and was going to eat it. I told him "you shouldn't eat it, they taste yucky." (Lupish understands at least 50% of the english language, and this was simple enough for him) He chose to ignore me, actually giving me a snit before he ate the lady bug. Of course when he tasted it, he spit it out and sat there trying to get the taste off his tongue while I killed myself laughing. He was SO pissed at me that he wouldn't "talk" to me for two days. The death glare I recieved was hilarious. I swear if I'd caught this exchange on camera I'd win AFV with it.
