I really like how similar we all are. I didn't do this before my PTSD either. It is a new phenomenon for me. I find that it is the old me pooping thru wanting to say yes and then the new me says wait, you're not ready for this yet. The challenge is to find situations that are just a bit uncomfortable enough that you can tolerate it and not be overwhelmed and learn to become the assertive and confident person you are meant to be in spite of PTSD

Hehe - it is nice that we're all messed up the same way. Makes me feel less crazy and lonely and like there really is hope at the end of tunnel.

I've worked a lot on people pleasing behavior over the last 10 years. I say no with a LOT more ease and lack of hesitation that I used to , that's for sure.

Sometimes I cave, but mostly I do stick to what I really feel and want. When my brother asked me to give my new mobile number and home address the other week, I didn't reply though...I couldn't say no but I didn't want to say yes either...so I just pretended I didn't read the email, and didn't reply at all:D
