I have been thinking a little about this, and am almost feeling it chipping away at me. I would hate to make a rash generalisation of either the therapy or the guy's suppposed PTSD, based solely on what we have watched, just because it doesnt fit with my experiences.
I know what I have said twice now here, but it is still bothering me that I have judged this man and also the therapist. But please I am not back tracking so please read on...
I am trying to see this from a different point of view, if this is marketing...well I am wondering who the target audience is; because it isn't working for those of us that have responded here (-but that doesnt mean that everyone here feels the same or is in agreement on this point) but so far as this being an advert of some kind I think for me personally it fails to achieve anything belivable or plausible.
And as far as this poor man having pTSD goes, just because I am not able to see that he reacts or is the same as me in it doesn't mean he hasn't got it. And only further and perhaps personal observation would shed anymore light on this for me to think he has.
I would hate to think that people decided to forego the therapy that the therapist "seems" to be advocating based solely on this infomercial...because it is exactly that; one persons viewpoint, and I think perhaps it is very skewed and maybe we would have to ask ourselves why?
Of course thinking and overthinking things can get us into trouble..I just think that I may well have jumped the gun and also I just don't think it is for me to judge on this.
I know where I stand on this matter and I guess some others now...but without additional evidence I would not make a PTSD diagnosis, nor run out to buy the therapists product.
I do think it leaves very much to be desired, but none of it means anything unequivocaly so...

I have to say as an also to everything else though; I am really amazed the "clients" voice didn't waver or anything either, no emotional response out of the laid back ordinary and maybe that is unusual in itself.
Maybe he has other comobidities out of the standard norm that we are used to, although again I would have thought if that were case the therapist would either have shared this knowledge or chosen another client to film. No matter what; this is a bad ad for anything or any "product", and again maybe we should ask why this has been put out there for the world to see.
What clients does this guy hope to have? because I wouldnt really want to mess with a bunch of angry PTSD'ers hell bent on a refund if "his" brand of treatment didn't work. Because again this is only one persons viewpoint of both treatment and diagnosis.
Although I still don't think he is PTSD, I dont have to. And I am going with my gut on this for myself.
