A couple more minor suggestions. For now, maybe it would be possible to leave this thread at the top of the first page, so everyone sees it? Sometimes it seems like there's less traffic, at least by the regulars, on the weekends.

Also, public radio and television, here anyway, conducts intense fund raisers a few times a year. I"m sure they'd take donations anytime.) But a few times a year, they really campaign. That way they can plan their yearly spending. Maybe that would be a less stressful way to raise the money.

And, maybe an article about what's involved in running the site would be a good newsletter article.

This thread gave me the courage to donate a small amount - I was always too embarrassed to donate anything before as I couldn't afford a large amount and didn't know if it was ok to give less than others seemed to be able to. Hopefully, it will encourage others in a similar position to donate too.

Hi everyone if we all keep talking about it, it will stay at the top of the page. I think we need to change the total for the month this month to the yearly total so it keeps everyone a target to achieve, so instead of it saying $250 etc it should say the year amount and that will really encourage people. Everyone who agrees with me please tick like so we can have loads of people like this and get it to change. We can have it like a telethon like in the old days.

I have found it easy now that I have found the prepared visa gift card, there is no trace at all nothing zip zero zilch , so there is no excuse for everyone not to donate.

Why should it be left to a few people, we all use this site and it's about time we sorted this out, as Nicolette said it puts a huge stress on Anthony and Nicolette and we all use this site. Therapy is a minimum of $ 30 $ 40 an hour so if you all add up how many hours a week you spend on here, I'm thinking that you would be far better off putting in a small amount to keep this wonderful site going.

It is very unfair for them to be expected to do all this work and then on top have to push for donations each month. It needs to be paid in advance I feel so once this year is paid. We start straight up for the next year and then we are always one year in credit.

We should not be putting pressure on Anthony we all know how we pack in when pressure happens in our life ... It makes you sick so put the shoe on the other foot and think of how Anthony and Nicolette feel every month. We wouldn't like to feel like that .

They shouldn't have to either !

Not that there is anything to be embarrassed about at all, but it's probably worth noting as well for anyone that does feel uncomfortable donating a small amount, or who feels uncomfortable for any other reason showing how much they donate, the option to donate anonymously is there for everyone :ninja:

I think you are amazing Rainbow what a great and brave thing to do.

I know I have struggled until I found the prepared present Visa card as I didn't want my accountant to see but now I'm free to donate when ever I want :):p:D
