I started Effexor about two weeks ago, and I love how it’s making me feel, I mean it’s actually working s little already. But. I can’t stop eating, I haven’t had this problem with any other antidepressants and it’s scaring me. I work out daily and eat healthy, but since Effexor I wanna eat every five minutes. Does this go away? I’m going to stop taking it if it doesn’t, I do not want to end up overweight. Idk man.

I think most of my side effects were gone by 2-3 weeks but it may have been a little longer. Not a doctor but I would recommend waiting it out at least 4 weeks. I’ve been on effexor almost two years now and it’s literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I hope you’re able to find an agreeable med cocktail soon.
