I like that show, no matter what the critics say. I think anything that promotes thinking about others and doing something positive for someone else, can't be bad. I believe those guys really do care about the people who help. What is wrong with providing whole towns, corporations, etc an opportunity to serve someone in need? I think many people just don't know what they can do to help.

I loved the quiet room. Wish I had one of those!!

Thanks for sharing, I watched this with my husband and I think it opened his eyes to some things.
Which makes things easier for me.

I haven't watched the show since they helped someone in my area. The guy was making his family live like paupers even though he had enough money to buy several houses. They compleatly blew over the fact that he had bought his daughter a corvet but refused to fix the roof on their house. The guy was also one of my bullies in school. Can't get over the bad feeling it left me with about the show. Just doesn't feel fair to me. Yeh I know the world isn't fair and I shouldn't expect perfect justice on stuff like this. Besides he just turned around and sold the house 6 months latter. Moved his family into another run down piece of junk.

To me it doesn't seam they do enough research on the people they help. I love the idea of the show. Of helping someone who needs the help. But they should make sure of it ahead of time. Check bank accounts and stuff like that. Just a thought. And yes I know that just because there was a jerk in my area that doesn't mean others didn't truly need the help. I'm sure many of them do and please everyone else keep watching. The way my mind works just kinda messes it up for me.
