in November, tripped on a cement sidewalk, falling straight forward, like a board, onto cement; concussion to my head (main contact point), injuries to nose, and back (whiplash like injuries during the propulsion of the fall).
-one month later, on Dec 23rd, due to a restaurant table being misplaced, when scooting my chair away from the table, I went over an edge, I fell backward in a chair, and sustained another concussion and aggravated back injuries-from fall in November.
My friend got hurt also tripping on broken sidewalk. He smashed his face up and sued the city. Many times we walk away feeling it is our fault for getting hurt. However there is duty of the city and the restuarant to keep you safe. I would call a few lawyers experienced in disabilities and tell them how you got hurt.
Oh... in the news there was a kid who was silly and decided to swing himself on a city lamp post. He fell cracked his head. Stupid kid right??? Parents sued the city went to trial and judge said city was at fault because the post was rusted and not maintained which is the post bent causing kid to fall.
Young man who fell from corroded lamp post gets $2.2 million
Interesting world..... please stay safe and keep safe to all
