I am a 29 year combat vet. I was a 19D Cav. Scout with 3rd Infantry during the siege of Iraq in the spring of 2003. I obviously have been cursed with PTSD or else I wouldn't be here. I have a 9 year old some and a 36 year old fiance, and both relationships are hard at times. I don't know what all is expected for my introduction and I am sure this isn't the best one, but here it is.

Thank you. I will check that page out. I am amazed already at the amount of information here. I have been researching this subject for years but stayed away from forums because of shame... stupid I know.

Welcome! My guy has combat PTSD too. I'm glad you found us - but not glad the reason you "need" to be here. :p There are lots of amazing people who are willing to share their stories which in turn help so many other people - in addition, as you have noticed already there are tons of articles and "sticky's" at the top of each section.
