Well, I know what it's like to be fired and it's a sh*tty feeling. I've been fired more times than I care to admit. Can you apply for unemployment? That's what I did. I guess I was lucky 'cause each time I applied I got it. Some employers will fight it.

So, you are not alone in how you feel. From someone whose been there: sorry you're going through this.

Look into COBRA for health insurance too - something to act quickly on and can give you a little longer to find new health insurance (if that was a benefit you had.)
