Forum Needs Editors - Do You Have What it Takes?

That would be great Nicollette. Our closing date is July 27 and i will be moving in as soon as i can!!!! I am sure by the end of August things will have settled down some and I will be more dependable but I will do as much as I can in the next couple of weeks along with packing.

CB, that would be greatly appreciated. Which do you feel suits you best? It doesn't matter who's name is beside any forum as an editor, as a forum should have even two editors, especially the busy one's, such as chat ptsd and trauma member diaries.

I really don't have any preference. I'm happy to give it a go where-ever I will be most useful. I've no experience in editing, but I think I've been here long enough to know what is required. I pop in most days, and despite my PTSD I'm generally quite level headed. We all have our moments and other commitments (work), but I'd like to try to give a little back to this very special community. Your choice, as to where!

Ok... I will put you with Mina in PTSD chat, as dual editors of that forum, as it is the busiest and often needs the most eyes.

Complete CB... You will now have editing abilities in chat ptsd, as well as social aspects of the forum. You should also now see a moderator forum from the homepage for moderators to discuss issues.

Hi,
I thought about this long and hard too. If you still need editors I'm willing. However, I'm starting to become brutally honest with my opinions, and I remember not liking poor bec for that very same thing when I first joined due to her no nonsense point of view.

But, I see that sometimes it takes that kind of honesty to bring people out of denial. So, I think the best place for me to go is somewhere like introductions or maybe success stories.

Tammy, you most certainly can help out. Introductions and success stories are taken, and really are low key areas which only require one editor. PTSD Chat and trauma diaries areas definately require than one editor. Mayhem does trauma members... I do the other trauma diaries. If you want one of them or to help in PTSD Chat... very much appreciated.

Wow. Being an editor! That is something I have always wanted to do. Unfortunatly, it seems that I am too late and I'm worried I don't have what it takes!
