Friends When You're Feeling Bad

Friendship is something which will build over time.

Look at who replies to your threads and which members you reply to. Maybe go into chat and see who is around and if no-one is there, PC a member to get their attention and ask if they want to meet in chat.

Join in on some of the fun threads as well so members get to know you.
 
Hi, I am sorry you are in the place you are at. I agree with KP. Make sure you do some of the threads in chit chat every day, and you will start to get to know people here. Do you have a trauma diary? There is a forum for that. You can journal and get support and get to know people that way.

Post to people who are looking for support if you do not get triggered too much. As time passes you will become familiar with the people here.

It was a good question. When I first joined I felt overwhelmned because this place is so bit. But I began to post to others to show support to them. I got a trauma diary and journaled. I do the ones daily on chit chat, And I reached out for help on problems I was having. I sure wish you the best. It will take some time and practice but if you hang in there and do not give up, you will become comfortable here, and meet lots of really wonderful people here. Great big cyber hugs.
 
Hi, go to the chit chat section. Some of them are how are you feeling today. What are you grateful for. What small things make you happy. Check out the picture threads too. Just go through them and look. It is really calmning and relaxing to look at the pictures. Thanks for the heads up on your diary. WTG.:tup:
