Frightened

Got bad news about both kidneys and possibly bladder today. All possibly endometrio​sis related which might even mean removal of ovaries.

Trying for immediate treatment as one kidney blocked - booked in to see more specialist​s.

Still in shock. I know they can do amazing things but still frightened​ until I know things are happening and are in concrete.

Further explanation is urine is following back into my right kidney, and getting trapped blowing out & could be putting pressure on my kidney. Its moderately serious but could turn worse in one to two weeks if it continues. The problem is my left kidney is faulty so if something goes wrong my left one may not cope.

Also my undersized bladder could be retracting due to fighting infection or endometriosis.

It seems action needs to be taken immediately with surgery a near definite. Seeing a urologist Thursday but I also need to see a gynecologist and the wait to see the best is 3-4 weeks minimum. My doctor is calling them on Monday to try and get me seen urgently.

Off to have other tests tomorrow.

Problem is if kidney fails then liver goes then.......

I'm scared & my doctor says he understands why. My gut has been telling me this was more serious than they thought. Now I have tests to prove it and the doctor says he wish they had done more since the initial ones but they didnt think I was getting worse; just that it was recurrent.

May not be around much as need to get work in order.

I am sorry you are going through this. I don't know what to say except that you have a lot of friends here all sending positive thoughts and prayers including me. Look at ISHs thread, 'Prayers please', proof that miracles do happen.

It is so hard for you both, waiting and worrying, going through all of the what ifs and trying to second guess. I hope your doctor can get the specialists to see you asap. Anthony this is hard for you as well, sending you both strength.

How scary for you, and upsetting Nicolette! They have the facts now- know what they're dealing with. As badly as these things have gone kefluffled, given the correct procedures then the body likes to jump at the chance to be able to get things back to running correctly again. Especially with you quite young things. :) Medical science never heals alone, either and Amethist will not be alone either in sending much healing wishes to you through all of this.

I know you're quite busy, distracted not to mention frightened. If there's a moment, let us know how you are, sort of in all ways. Am thinking of you, with much hugs and wishes of peace going forward. Do please take care, ok? I'm not minimizing, just have quite a bit of faith in those angels of Amethists so think healing is on the way.

I know this can be very frightening for you as it will have an effect on your life and any short term projects. Medical science has come a long way and the Dr put an emergency on this.
