Thank you for the update Nicolette, there are many here that are linking arms and lighting candles for you right now. 4 years is a long time to ride the medical merry-go-round. At least you are in the system, not like some women who are told that it's a psychological problem and don't investigate further - I'm thinking of something that happened to a lady friend about 30 years ago. In one sense, it is better to have many specialists looking at all possible avenues, at least they will be able to eliminate and not forget any important sign. I'm just sorry that you are going through all that suffering now. My thoughts and prayers sent your way and for Anthony too.

Awwww (((((((((((((Nicolette)))))))))))))))))) I am so so sorry for all the unknowns! Sometimes it feels like how many freaking parts can there possibly be to a person anyway?? You would think there would be one of those diagnostic mcjiggers like they have for cars that they can hook us up to and then run us on for 30 minutes, printing out a diagnosis, being done with it! This needs changing, this need filling up, etc. Good grief!

Yes, and being chest related while 'over 30'. Boy, they have to be a little more careful how many stressed females they say that to! Someone once thought of me to come testify as a character witness because they needed a 'nice, older woman', did the defendent know anyone his attorney could contact? Grumble. :) Anyway, as confusing as it is a 2nd opinion can't hurt. I do like what Froggie said, since gosh-it did used to be that way almost across the board and you at least have docs trying to figure this out asap for you. I realize once in awhile a terrible doc makes it through training but in general the nice thing about most of them is the sheer brains it took in the first place to get that degree. This will get figured out to your benefit, and healing-be sure.

Thanks everyone.

Work contacts have been a blessing - it's not what you know but who you know - along with a great GP.... booked in to see two specialists this Thursday. The Gynaecologist who is the best with endoscopy is normally a 3 to 4 month wait and the only reason I can't see him before Thursday is because he is overseas. Strings have been pulled so I feel better that they are investigating immediately rather than wait longer. :tup:

Someone is watching over me..... maybe all the forum members. :D

More good news.... one of the specialist appointments is now tomorrow instead of Thursday. Geez the support of all the members here is working in my favor! ;)

It is the unknown which is hardest to deal with so some direction will make me feel a lot calmer and hopefully the outcome wont be as bad as the initial shock.
